This TV show is a comedic cartoon that follows a character named peter griffin. Though the show is crude and merciless at its attempt to wow its viewers with its Graphic and completely inappropriate comedy, it does entail quite the amount of sociological concepts however when watching the show they could be very easy to miss. Back to peter Griffin however. He has a son a daughter, a friend and a dog that I will be discussing. I chose these 5 characters because I believe that they each have their own sociological concept that ties to them. And we will be discussing each in detail. the concepts will include racism, sexism, homosexuality, religion, bullying and the difference between “studs”and “Whores”. The Character Stewie is a one year old baby who is quite smart but just can’t seem to answer one crucial question to himself. “What am I attracted to?” The baby has been in “relationships” with female babies though he does show many signs of him being a homosexual. Like in real sociological situations many teens struggle to understand which gender sexually attracts them and I believe that the character stewie shows that perfectly. Meg. She is the daughter of peter Griffin. She is often bullied by her parents, and even her fellow students. Like many who have been bullied Meg tries to show her relevance. He is a man filled with negative sociological concepts. He can be racist homophobic. You name it, but the concept that I will cover is sexism. Peter Griffin does not believe that his wife is tough. Though he learns the hard way not to judge based on someone’s sex. On one episode of family Guy peter is being molested by a man, when his wife physically confronts the man.
