Bailiffs are court room officers that provide security in the court room. They also maintain order when needed. To become a bailiff, you need to have a high school diploma and a GED. After that you must follow the other steps to become one. Also, some steps have different ways to become a bailiff. Of course, when you’re a bailiff you have duties just like any other criminal justice profession. Some of these duties include announcing the judge’s entrance into court, helping the judge, and to escort the jury out of the courtroom. Bailiff duties and the criminal justice can also relate in many ways. Some ways they relate are that they to maintain order. Once a bailiff you must meet the requirements to become one, know the duties that must do, and to know why these duties relate to the criminal justice system.

Once you become a bailiff there are many duties that you do and some of these duties are to assist and protect the judge and jury throughout court proceedings, to declare the entry of the judge and call witnesses into the courtroom, and to accompany the jurors outside the courtroom. When becoming a bailiff, there are many comparisons that its duties has with the criminal justice system and these are to serve to protect and maintain order.
