Bandura provides an augmentation to this thought that self-system is the set of cognitive processes by which a person evaluates, perceives and controls his or her own behavior so that it is proper in the environment and an individual is an affective in achieving the individual’s goals. The individual is impacted by both external processes to reinforce and provide the environment and internal process such as expectations, thoughts, anticipated reinforcements, plans and goals. When evaluating Monroe’s self-system we can assume that she was influenced by both internal processes of reinforcements and external processes of reinforcements. Monroe was obviously noticed her own talents and this presented her the encouragement and motivation to become even more successful. She thought that she could turn herself into a magnificent actress and therefore conduct herself in certain ways that would accomplish this belief. Self-efficacy beliefs are the outcome of four different types of information such as, the experiences of trying to perform the objective behavior; watching others performs that similar behavior; verbal persuasion; How to feel about the behavior. (Schustack) Now with evaluating the results of Monroe’s four types of self –efficacy she has been able to sign into large production agencies which has resulted in being more talented and eye-catching that can lead her ideal dream. She then makes sure she has confidence in her sex charm and strives to perfect her acting skills. Through this process it is known as the observational learning in which she models other popular actresses as an attempt to manipulate her own skills. She is inspired by the reaction of her fans, with the love shown with support that she receives from them. She feels the need to be loved and accepted; she views this type of way to get the fans and/ or men that are involved to her.
