The National Football League is an integral part of American culture, practically owning a day of the week. Though they do not release their annual financial data, they are valued upwards of $45 billion placing them tantamount with some of the world’s largest companies. However, the current corporate structure significantly limits its organizational effectiveness; recently, the organization’s culture and questionable practices have been largely scrutinized. Although the National Football League continues to generate high revenues due to favorable competitive forces, we recommend they provide a more sustainable product with a focus on public perception to address issues of misfit and centrality.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game In the state of Georgia, there are thousands of baseball fans that enjoy the fresh air of the open field and the taste of salty peanuts. “Take me out to the ballgame” might become a simpler task in the near future for Braves fans that live in the Cobb County area. One of the biggest things that I think of when I hear baseball is the huge stadium, filled with thousands of people. More importantly I think of Turner Field, the Brave’s current stadium located in Atlanta.
Heartbreak Hockey In October of 2000, the Columbus Blue Jackets became one of the thirty teams to grace the ice of the National Hockey League. But since the establishment of this rookie team, Blue Jackets fans would currently laugh at the thought of the team being able to grace the ice. Yeah, they’re that bad. Tormented by a series of unfortunate events, followed by the false hopes of resurrection, the hearts and minds of Blue Jackets fans are surely tender.

Season tickets are passed
There are many sports team names and mascots whose names reference Native Americans; this has become a public controversy due to the sports team names being interpreted as a racially offensive pursue. Most people do not take into consideration that these teams have an important meaning behind them, and how they contribute to the insightful history of Native Americans themselves. It would be a catastrophe having to lose all the history. Many claims toward this idea of "racism" are due to NFL and college team names such as the Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Florida State Seminoles are just a few.

Beyonce has been around since the late 90’s and her fan base has only grown stronger with time. Though Justin Bieber came on the scene later in 2009 he has accumulated a very large group of dedicated fans who continue to support him and his work.
Recently, there has been a lot of talk surrounding patriotism in sports and its effect on our world today. Specifically, people have been talking about the actions of Colin Kaepernick, a former starter, then backup, and now starting quarterback once again for the San Francisco 49ers. The reason patriotism in sports has been so popular lately is because Kaepernick chose to take a knee during the national anthem to avoid supporting a country that, in his view, treats people of color and minorities unfairly. Kaepernick's actions have spurred most of the country to get involved in the issue and caused many people to choose sides. While there is still widespread debate on whether or not Kaepernick should be kneeling during the anthem, it is clear that his message is powerful and he obviously has followers who believe in his actions
