Paul's life is hard. His brother Erik makes choices that affect him drastically. In this book, Tangerine, Edward Bloor talks about the choices people around Paul's life make and how they affect him. As it says in the story, Erik spraypaints Paul's eyes. Erik did this when Paul was just five.

Silence or Art? Art can be defined as “The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power” (Oxford Dictionary). Art can be found almost anywhere and everywhere at the exact same time. Whether it’s in a scenic setting, in melodic music, or even in the simplest of paintings, art’s been prevalent all throughout history and is even found dating back to around 60,000 years ago. Artists create art for various reasons, whether it’s for entertainment or even as a form of expression.
Art painting air warfare seems to be the biggest controversy with the Second World War Official War Art Program’s declaration of accuracy. “You could paint a wounded man. You could express in the contortions of his body and the taut lines of his face the extremity of his suffering. The correct insignia and a suggestive background would show what breed of combatant he was, whence he came, where he was.” However, air warfare was different.
Baseball pitchers have to be extremely explosive and create force to produce a good pitch. Some factors that go into a pitch would be velocity, movement, and position. There are many types of pitches that an athlete can do and follows a similar pattern but the factors change. If a pitcher wanted to throw a fastball, they would have to change the velocity of the ball but if the pitcher wanted to throw a curveball they would have to change the type of movement they do. The ultimate goal for any baseball pitcher is to get the ball into the catcher’s mitts without being interfered by the batter at home base.
I attended the Texas Coast exhibit by Carol Plumb, which was held at the Learning Resource Center at TSTC on October 22, 2015.The piece of art that caught my eye was “Clouds over Laguna”. The category I believe this artwork falls under the environmental and cultural. “Clouds over Laguna” depicts the Texas Coast and displays culturally how important it is to the residents of South Texas and environmentally how it should be cared for. The artwork by Plumb is very realistic.
One statement I continually hear is “Oh, fast pitch softball pitching is not that hard.” A lot of people I know do not seem to understand all the hard work that goes into pitching. If they did, they would understand that fast pitch pitching is not as easy as it seems. I have been pitching for six years, so pitching is my life. It really is thrilling for someone who has nerves of steel and knows that the game rests in their hands, literally.

The carbon fibre polymer or composite can make up the whole softball bat or part of it. The softball bats that are made entirely out of this composite are called composite bats and the ones that are made of part of the composite and the rest of the bat is either aluminium alloy or wood they are known as composite hybrid bats. The carbon fibre polymer is used to reinforce the bats to make them much stronger. The hybrid bats offer both the advantages of the composite and the other material.
The purpose of this paper is to visually analyze the stylistic approach of this “unknown” piece of art. Using this, I will then decide what stylistic period the work of art comes from using techniques and processes learned in art history. The “unknown” piece of art is depicting a naked man falling backwards onto the ground. The ground in this case is a slab of rock, slightly rolling and uneven visually, but nothing more.
Artifact Description: Graffiti Painting—Use tools from a paint program to modify an image; create a fictional story with the image as the central character. What you learned: The first thing I learned from this project is that I did not have any type of painting software on my computer. Through google, I was able to find a free basic paint software for the Apple computer called Paintbrush. Since this was a new application for me, I learned how to use the different features of the software. There was also a learning process in downloading the assigned image from Canvas, in which I was to work with, and copying it into my paint software.

If I could step into a painting for a day, I would step into the Grand Canyon painting. I would step in this painting because the Grand Canyon is a beautiful landscape and it would be a beautiful vacation for me. I have always found body painting a beautiful art form although temporary. Emma Fay paints amazing beautiful images of animals using the human being as her canvas and uses illusion and symbolic expression throughout her pieces. Many body paint artists do some pretty sexy and racy art work, where her paintings are much more conservative. I really like the Giraffe and am amazed how the human body is almost hidden in the art and the lines of the painting follow along the lines of the body.
Once you are done cleaning your gun you need to pick everything up. You first need to put the caps on all the bottles of cleaners. You also need to take the pieces of rags that you used and throw them in the garbage. You need to take the rod and unscrew the three pieces so that you can put it back to the container that it came in. You should also remember to put the cleaners back in the container as well.
