Land of the free and home of the brave. America is a country that is known for its freedom worldwide. Many abandoned their own country in order to try and live a perfect life in America, where they will not be discriminated against no matter what nationality, sex or religion an individual is. America was not always this promising to minorities mid 1800’s. America had huge faults such as slavery which later was one of the reasons the north and south separated and went to war with each other.
1. In contrary to other renaissance writer, Shakespeare writings portrayed women 's as equals to men. 2. The reality of life in America for immigrants to the believes that America is a place of freedom and right to pursue every dream.
America is defined as the land of the free and the home of the brave, but what it took for America to get here is an incredible story. Mostly the American culture is going downhill never known of one thing, that every Americans does that is all one-hundred percent the same. We have changed so much, mostly for the better. For the world it is a better place and for the people that live within the United States it’s a good thing. America people think of freedom as what they believe they have in their day to day activities, yet compared to some places in the world they are right we are free.
Together we can change for the better. America is a country with many strong qualities. Although America is looked up to by countless countries, and idolized by outsiders looking in, for most of citizens that is not the case. We are a free country with many qualities still held from our founding fathers that were laid out
But Some circumstances changed and I had to take a decision. I had to go where there were a good opportunities of education. For many immigrants, America is the land of opportunity and freedom. The decision to leave my country and move to America was a big step for me. However, Everything in America was strange to me : the streets, the people, and the language.
My mom came to the United States with no money to her name. She came here in search for a better life. No one helped her, she did it all on her own. Not speaking the language or being educated it wasn 't easy raising a child in a place which is so unknown to you
People from all over the world came to the US for many reasons, and with them came their culture. The US is considered today as a place where, for the most part, all people and cultures are accepted. This can all be traced back to the immigrants that came to the US in the late 1800s. These people brought their customs and traditions to the US and allowed the people to really experience how other people around the world live. Foods, religions, governments, and ideals are just some of the many thing immigrants brought to the US that overall made the US a much more complex country.
Coming to the US for most people, was the best thing to ever happen in their lives. It was the same for me. Until a time in my life slightly changed that, but I still think it profited me and helped me grow tremendously. On my first day in middle, I was so nervous to meet new people that I did not really talk much to people the first couple of weeks. One-day as I was sitting in class doing my work I saw someone look at me
.America is the land of opportunity to many individuals. It gives people a chance to become who they really desire to be. That idea though, is not always true. What sometimes occurs is that people who want to become a true American make themselves believe that the only way to do so is by becoming powerful and losing the morals that they were taught. What has been ingrained in much of society is that if one does not do one of those things they are lesser than the ones who do.
America is the place that seems to give opportunities and equal changes to all. They have more freedom than others (but not total freedom). America is a united people working together. I believe America is a place where all people have a chance to succeed in life. I also believe that in America people have the freedom to stand up for their beliefs and fight for them.
Dear fellow nasty women and bad hombres, America is one the greatest experiments in freedom and liberty history has ever known. We are a nation that was built on the minds and ideals of immigrants. Our Founding Fathers created America so that everyone could have a chance at "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Those are aspects of my country, I would never change because they are what make us unique. The glow of America casts a ripple of hope upon those who struggle.
As a teenager moving to a new country with a different culture, different language, and being thousands of miles away from everyone I grew up with was not an easy change, however, that was precisely what I did in January of 2013 when I came to the United States with my father. My whole world changed since, and shaped my way of thinking. From learning English, adjusting to a new culture, experiencing my first snow and finding my way in my new country, my life has been an exciting adventure. My parents brought me to America almost 5 years ago to have a better life, and to get a better education.
Our society is battling with disintegration, and disintegration is winning. Primarily, other countries are advanced/advancing in areas like education. Countries like Finland, Australia, Iceland, and Singapore have the highest education, while America is ranked average. Schools subjects in those countries would probably be considered much harder for students living in the United States. As for me, I grew up going to school in West Africa, but after coming
The U.S. has a very good education system and it can help people become anything they want to be in life, which is why immigrants want their
