On February 18, 2016, I conducted telephone interviews of Andres Lopez and Chris Clawson. Mr. Lopez stated that at the time of the incident, he was driving from a Haas-Anderson work site to the company’s office to drop off some supplies and equipment. Before leaving the work site, he stacked four traffic control barrels, weighing between 4-5 lbs. each, on top of one another and laid them in the bed of his truck. The barrels were laid on their side and were completely inside the bed of the truck.

Two important classes were senatorial class (senators) and equestrian class (any person, who possessed a certain amount of wealth.) For instance, the wealthy dominated the legal system; they had control over properties through ownership rights and the use of sanctions, and could distribute them in their favor. As it could be seen, the elite group took the government, possessed vast amounts of land (most of which was conquered during the expansion) and owned slaves. On the other hand, people from lower class (freedmen and slaves) almost owned nothing and had to win the affection of confidence of their masters. The great enrichment of the Roman’s upper class directly and indirectly led to the worsening of life and daily struggles for many plebeians.

Introduction: On October 3rd, at approximately 11:30 p.m., I had the opportunity to interview one of my neighbors whom I will call Alex, in order to keep anonymity. Now, I only have known Alex since the beginning of the year. What I initially learned about her was that her parents immigrated to the United States from Bulgaria; she lived in the United States, specifically Texas, until she was ten years old. Then her family immigrated to England, where they have been living for the last eleven years. For this reason, I concluded that she would be an interesting interviewee when asked about one’s linguistic identity.
From my family, my parents, my sister and a few uncles are undocumented. The majority of my uncles got lucky when they came to the U.S. because when they came around the late or early 1980s they were granted residency. On the other hand, if my dad would have come earlier maybe he would have become a citizen as well. My dad came to the U.S. earlier than my mother and sister. When he got help and collected the money to crossed the border, all my uncles lived in the same apartment at South Gate.
Gus Van Sant’s 2000 film Finding Forrester portrays a unique relationship that develops between William Forrester, an eccentric, reclusive novelist and Jamal Wallace, a gifted scholar-athlete, African-American teenager. After the novelist discovers that the young athlete is also an excellent writer, Forrester secretly takes Wallace on as his protégé, and they develop an unlikely friendship (Van Sant, Finding Forrester). As their relationship develops and they learn about each other, Forrester and Wallace learn more about themselves than they originally anticipated. The film depicted many strengths and limitations as Forrester and Wallace’s relationship grew.
I chose to meet with my English 101 professor, Holly Hayes. I chose to meet with Dr. Hayes because I thoroughly enjoy her class and enjoy speaking with her. She is approachable, friendly, highly educated on her subject. During our discussion we conversed about my upcoming assignment in her class which involves choosing a research topic to study and investigate, with the ultimate goal of writing a Social Science Literature Review, followed by an Autoethnography relating to the topic of our literature review. We began the discussion by talking about my topic of choice, “The effects of being educated in a public versus public school.”

The issue focused on a technique that law enforcement officers call psychological profiling. Psychological profiling is defined as an analytic technique used to analyze criminal behaviors in order to identify an offenders characteristic (Kocsis, Hayes & Irwin, 2002). However, profiling has been used periodically in police investigating practices over the last year. Therefore, the use of profiling reoccurrence missed the support of empirical research validity. As a result, Kocsis et al (2004) were the first to consider examining the empirical skills related to criminal profile accuracy.
