Graduating is probably the most bittersweet moment many seniors will have faced at this point in their lives. We all will first receive a piece of paper that you have worked over a decade to obtain. Which will also allow us to open a new chapter in our lives; whether it be college, enlisting in the military, going to trade school, or going directly into the workforce. Without having it, a successful life is nearly impossible in today’s age. However, regardless of how awesome graduating will be, shortly thereafter I can imagine you might feel quite the opposite of awesome. You suddenly are forced to grow up, make a life changing decision and decide exactly what you want to do with you life. While I know what I want to major in, as well as have a passion for such major, the initial change will be hard nevertheless. Personally I find it hard to pick what the biggest change I will be faced with. Losing touch with the majority of your friends, being away from family, and having to learn how to be a successful college student are all tough things to overcome. However, I honestly can say I believe that biggest change will be the amount of time I need to put into my schooling. Even though many say it is mainly based on your major, much more work is put on your plate than what high school does. Whenever my brother is home from college, all I hear about is the rude awaking that I am in for this coming year. He claims he studies around 8 hours a day, not including his classes!
