Importance of Being Educated Once the choice is made they will be an endless responsibility, will rely on their caregiver for everything, believe anything and everything the caregiver says, and the caregiver will be their prime example of someone they would like to live up to. It is necessary for people to become educated before becoming parents because of the major role in their children’s lives, the effects on children are chronic, and parenting is more than just having a baby. The parent becomes a model for the child and their primary caregiver shows behaviors, thoughts, and actions in a way that the children view as suitable. “Role models are often subjects of admiration and emulation” (qtd. LiveStrong). These actions are repeated through the child’s own actions and are continued throughout life.
