The USA government provides several benefits in the educational field, hospital fees, voting rights and get any kind of assistance from them when overseas. Due to this reason, every person who lives in America is either an immigrant or a descendant of an immigrant. However, this creates greediness in many foreigners. Due to this greed, immigrants or foreigners use shocking tricks, frauds and techniques to get US citizenship or become a green card holder such as getting married to citizens only to gain citizenship and then divorce them. These kind of cases make other countries reluctant to give citizenship to foreigners. For example countries such as Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia and some more restrict citizenship to immigrants. However, a set of guidelines and conditions should be accepted by the immigrants applying for citizenship in order to maintain law and order, peace and unity among the other citizens. The government should make sure that the guidelines are not offensive to the the applicant’s culture or religion and the rules should be fair. Immigrants bring in a lot of positive changes in culture and the economy. There maybe a few illegal immigrants who might have caused many controversial issues such as burden on the taxation department, terrorist attacks and some more. However, due to these minor group of people, the other immigrants should not be harassed or restricted from citizenship. Although a few important measures have to be taken for national security and peace between the other nations.
