Ben Franklin was an incredible scientist who wasn't afraid to leap into dangerous experiments. He was one of the first people to capture the power of lighting and electricity, using it to create things like the lightning rod. Ben Franklin found himself front and center of the new world, as he became famous for his scientific research. Ben Franklin was able to use his scientific knowledge to shape the new world with his inventions, experiments, and even gave people of all generations a new way to go through their everyday life. Ben Franklin did not try to re-invent others prior discoveries, but instead he paved the way for people to come. This quote could be used to prove that Ben Franklin would be a pioneer for scientists to come. He was able to revolutionize the way people live, while having dozens of his own ideas, and inventions. Not only was he a pioneer, but Ben Franklin was persistent. Ben was often advancing his studies further into the world of electricity, so much so to the point where he was able to create scientific laws. For instance, the text notes, "In other words, the generation of any amount of electrical charge was always balanced by the simultaneous generation of an equal amount of charge of the opposite kind.
