People often ask the question what makes a good President, through the period of time the United States of America has gone through alot President, but what makes each President different and what important qualities does the President have that make him stand out from the rest. Being down to earth is one major quality that every president should have, President Lincoln demonstrated this quality by “ he would talk to the people that come to him with problems whether that is his cabinet or other citizens.” this is one of the many reasons why Lincoln is one of the greatest Presidents of all time because he let the citizens feel at ease to approach him to talk and express the problems the citizens had. FDR was also down to earth and the President Library and museum brought out that “ FDR received a flood of reaction mail from the American public. Many citizens supported the appointment, but a large majority of the letters opposed it primarily because of Perkins' gender.” it was cool to see that while dealing with his presidential duties he has the time to receive mail from the american citizen which are expressing their feeling about issues so it was cool to learn that the President was down to earth and accept mail from the American citizens.
