George Lucas once said, “The technology keeps moving forward, which makes it easier for the artists to tell their stories and paint the pictures they want,” which is true. Technology moves forward as if it were like time. Technology does a lot and is involved in a lot. The technology that we use consumes our lives. Tech is used to find out more about the unknown like Mars, Bill Gates and Larry Page are both great faces of technology, technology moves on like time, and electricity is often used in today's technological advances.

He is most known for co-founding Microsoft, a well known tech company ("Bill Gates Biography"). The man that he founded Microsoft with is Paul Allen. Bill Gates was born in Seattle, Washington on the 28th of October in 1955. His family consisted of his mother, Mary Maxwell; his father, William H. Gates Sr.; and his two sisters, Kristianne and Libby ("Bill Gates Biography"). Growing up, Bill liked computers. He got interested in them at around the age of thirteen years old. Books were something else that he was also into when he was a kid ("Bill Gates Biography"). He attended Lakeside School and that is where he met his future business partner, Paul Allen. Gates graduated from Lakeside School in 1973 ("Bill Gates Biography"). “He scored 1590 out of 1600 on the college SAT test, a feat of intellectual achievement that for several years he boasted about when introducing himself to new people”(“Bill Gates Biography”). In 1975, two years later, the two created Traf-o-Data. It was a program that organized traffic data. The two made twenty thousand dollars from the program ("Bill Gates Biography"). We all use electricity. It is practically an essential to life nowadays. But electricity hasn’t just always been something that we could use like we do now ("Electricity"). The first discoveries of electricity were animals like eels and instances like lightening. Thales was the earliest known researcher ("Electricity"). The electric fish were reported by the ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and Arabic. It is quite crazy to think that the human race went from trying to figure out what electricity was and how to harness it, to using so much of it so often that it has become an essential of our daily lives ("Electricity"). Electricity powers and runs almost everything that we use. From our watches that show us what time it is, to our cars that get us to wherever we need to go. There are multiple ways to how electricity is displayed and how it reacts ("Electricity"). One is an electric charge. An electric charge exerts a force. Another is called an electric current, which is the movement of an electric charge through something ("Electricity"). For example, electric fences constantly have an electric current pumping an electric charge through the wire. So, when it is touched, the electric current goes through whatever is touching the wire ("Electricity"). We even have an electric charge in our bodies. That is why, when we might touch something that is metal, we feel a shock. Electricity is used to power everything
