Computers have been around for decades and can do quite a bit only because of the advanced technology we have today. Without any of this technology the world would be stuck back in the 1970’s before computers even existed. Computers work so well because of the software that is embedded into them and those softwares are what run everything about any electronics like cell phones, tables, laptops and more. They have most of the same software programmed in computers, but made differently just for the tablets and cell phones. There is a variety of different software around including Windows, Macintosh OS X, or Linux and Hewlett-Packard’s fairly new operating system. At a young age Gates became enthralled with computers and their technology. Through this passion in which he shared with his friend Paul Allen both experienced success as BASIC Programmers. Traf-O-Data had been created by Gates and allen in 1972. Allen attended college but dropped out before he received his degree to begin writing languages for the Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS) Computer. Soon after Gates also had left college to later develop languages for the Altair 8800. They both ended up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where Gates became the director of software development. Microsoft created a path for new and evolved technologies throughout the end of the 20th century and into the 21st century. Technology and the internet will constantly be changing throughout our lifetimes. At first MS-DOS might have looked crappy as in the hardware itself but they had changed the lives of millions of people because it was cheap and it is what everybody loved. Bill Gates and Paul Allen saw that the best way to dominate the market was to make something just about everyone could use and sell it for a reasonable price. The revolution had begun when Microsoft had the operating system called Windows 95 released.
