As a boy:
Bill was born in 1955 in a upper middle class family in Seattle, Washington by William Henry Gates Sr. and Mary Maxwell Gates.
Gate’s family that supported and encouraged his interests in technology, invested through large amounts of money (Kreit/Wanke). Through a family of hierarchy, Gates, at an early age, had an enraging interest for computers in an age that technology was starting to grow its popularity. In supporting Microsoft, Gates brought together smart people to collaborate with each other to solve problems. Overall, this foundation has officially helped “people all over the world to live healthier, more productive lives.” (“About Bill”)
As Gate’s Foundation grew, there was one aspect that created a foundation for his rise to fame. Through his good friend Warren Buffett, Buffett truly improved both the Bill Gates foundation by donating nearly 80% of his earnings and by improving his bill gates reputation in the world of technology as a whole. “They lobby Congress as a team. They criticize flat taxes as a team. They read classic business books as a team.”
