As a child Gates was raised in an upper middle class home in Seattle, Washington. He lived with his parents, William Henry Gates Sr. and Mary Maxwell Gates, he also has 2 sisters named Libby(younger) and Kristianne(older).During the time that Bill Gates’s early years he was very competitive and loved board games, especially Monopoly. In his academic career Gates surpassed most, he scored a whopping 1590 out of 1600 on the SAT in Lakeside High school and joined Harvard after graduation. During the time he was becoming a billionaire, there were lots of issues around the world being talked about but not much was done to solve them, knowing this Gates started the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation which still improves the world today, this connects to me because I too believe that though talk is important it simply isn't enough to solve an issue.
