Throughout Bill Gates life he helped/created many different businesses. He helped Microsoft grow to success. The government has made thousands of bills, but none of them have a current trailblazer. Bill Gates did many things that are positive and negative. For many years Gates loved working on computer and creating new programs. Gates helped the world by changing their ideas on life. Bill Gates should be on the twenty-dollar bill because he was inspiring to many people, he was a strong leader, and he was very philanthropic.

Gates is a very philanthropic (seeking to promote the welfare of others, especially by donating money to good causes; generous) person. Gates created the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that gives away millions of dollars to help improve many things in our world. One of the problems the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation helped was in Africa, there are many mosquitoes in Africa, so many kids were getting bit. The mom or dad decides which child got to sleep in the bed with the bed net, so they did not get bit by the mosquitoes. When The Gates Foundation found out they bought bed nets for all the homes in Africa. Gates gave $150 million to help launch the Global Fund for Children vaccines. He gave $2.80300 billion toward world health, children health and many other health related organizations. He gave $105.17800 billion toward education and libraries. Bill Gates, a well known man, claims, “ Libraries allow citizens to borrow what they can not afford” (“Bill Gates”). Gates means that libraries are meant for people who can not afford to buy books, but still want to read them. He gave $20 million to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, so they can have a new place for their laboratory for computer science. He gave $262 million to the Pacific Northwest project which is an organization that helps save the wild life and keep everything in nature staying healthy. Last he gave $382 million to many other organizations or companies. Bill Gates is known for being very rich, but he stated, “I believe that with great wealth comes great responsibility”(Bill Gates). What Gates is saying is that with great wealth comes great responsibility. They feel they should do something with that money, to give back to the world in positive ways. He also believes that him and his wife are fulfilling their responsibilities by giving back to the world, and helping those in need or who are less fortunate. Bill
