The Bill of Rights is one of the most important governing documents in the United States. It comprises the first ten amendments to the Constitution, and it addressed the main concern people had of the constitution at the time; that it gave too much power to a centralized government.

The first of these amendments was created to allow people freedom of expression. It specifies that people have freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition to voice and spread their opinions in the public domain.

The most fundamental part of the 1st amendment is freedom of speech. However, there is still some limitation on free speech in the US. These limitations include slander, incitement, and obscenity.

The first limitation on speech
