Why are you so Bipolar?
Upon researching Bipolar disorder, it became apparent that this disorder is the subject of mass misconceptions. Within this paper, the issues associated with this disorder will be brought to light in an attempt to educate readers about the true nature of Bipolar. Countless people question the cause of bipolar disorder and why it is getting worse. Through the findings of many authors, doctors, and patients some of these questions can be answered such as what symptoms exist, if this disorder can be cured, and how can it be treated.

This is a disorder which can be genetically transmitted to offspring. If parents have bipolar, it is more likely that the child will as well. It is possible to concurrently have hypomania, which is a milder form of mania that doesn't include psychotic episodes, with bipolar. Contrary to popular belief, people with hypomania are very capable of working. Many employers are fearful of mental disorders such as bipolar without fully understanding it. Consequently, this stigma of mental disorders results in many capable people being barred from work. Bipolar disorder is a medical condition that can exhibit more severe effects if the patient has other medical disorders like ADHD. Numerous studies have proven that illegal drug use will make the symptoms bipolar disorder worsen in both children and adults. Scientists have not yet discovered any definitive causes of bipolar disorder, but generally believe that genetics, stress, and brain structure contribute to this
