But, currently, I am working with some young Black males that need help in logical thinking, and mind strengthening. So many many Black boys (and men) are mentally broken, incarcerated, feminized and danmaged spiritually. As you know more than I that many African-Centered Social Science has been sounding the warning bell us for years concerning the appalling state of Black people, in general, especially our males. In European-Centered and supremacist society the Black, Brown, etc. men are killed first (and many of their women become the “spoils” of war).
So, I must do something and “a little” part to save some young ”Bloods”. (I miss my days working at Sankofa Freedom Academy Chartered School working with the youth, especailly with the boys being a good example and mentor.) Therefore, I utilized the game of chess as an excellent “tool” to develop a young mind to think clearer and strategically.
