Blind to Peace. We all wonder who caused the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. There were a lot of people that were involved in it. The Prince who tried to stop it. The Friar Lawrence who got Romeo and Juliet married. Juliet 's mother and father who wanted her to marry Paris but the one that stood out and did the worst things was Tybalt. He has hated Romeo since the beginning of the story where he started a fight with the Montagues. The summary of the story was Romeo and Juliet meet and fall in love and marry within 24 hours. When the two families were at the party Tybalt told his father that he was going to kill Romeo. Tybalt 's father said that Tybalt would not and Tybalt pushed his father and yelled then stormed off. [1.5.53-90] “Patience performance with willful choler meeting/Makes my flesh tremble in their different greeting/ I will withdraw;but this intrusion shall/ Now seeming sweet, convert to bitterest gall.”. This proves the thesis because Tybalt gets mad when his father says that he can not kill Romeo. The king wants peace but Tybalt is blind to this peace. This is only one of the reasons why Tybalt was the one to blame in the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. He wanted to kill Romeo just from looking at him. Romeo is from the enemy family but he still didn 't even do anything to Tybalt. Tybalt is blind to peace. Tybalt has done so many dumb things in this story. One of them involved murder. He even got himself killed. He was absolutely blind to all peace possible. He wanted to kill Romeo even when he hadn 't even met him. Then he got mad at his father when he said that he couldn 't kill him. Then when Romeo tries to make peace with him he beat up Romeo and then killed Mercutio. Then at the beginning of the story when he said that he hates all Montagues and he hates the word peace. Tybalt is the reason why Romeo was banished. Tybalt is the reason for the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
