Many people including Japanese, American, Mexican, and Asian cultures eat these amazing mollusks.Unfortunatley due to being hunted, very few of these creatures are left, and researcher Katherine Courage says that there are 50,000 tons of octopi being caught each year. Some people try to help but to no avail for there are still hunters that get paid a lot of money for the giant octopus even though they are super smart.
