What I learned about Spanish Dancers was that they are nocturnal. So they only come out at night. They can be only one color or they can be different colored with patterns. Some Spanish Dancers can be as big as a loaf of bread. They have a great way to defend themselves. The way that the use to defend themselves is by a toxin and changing color. They are not very good at blending in. they get their name from how they swim. Did you know there are 3,000 in the population of Spanish Dancers. They have a flat but oval body shape. They can live up to about a year. They have a wide variety of interesting things about them. The females have a toxin that protects their eggs. Their toxin is very harmful. Another name for Spanish Dancers is sea rose. They eat sponges, crabs, and anemones. They first started out in the red sea but then moved to other oceans. Their predators are turtles, humans, and crabs. These water animals are fun to look at. It would be cool to see and watch how they swim. Some people said they move like a breakdancer. I never knew there was an animal like this in the ocean. As I read about the Spanish Dancer, I found out that there are a lot of interesting things about this neat animal. It helps the imperial shrimp with a home because they are friends. If you were to have one as a pet, you will find it hard to take care of because of their diet. If it was not about their diet then you could have a Spanish Dancer as a pet. I personally think it would be an amazing idea to have one of these in my house as a pet.
