Additionally, the client is lacking overall awareness. We want to address these symptoms that stem from the true issue at hand: a weak brand. Reconstructing a strong image of the Friends of BANWR’s mission will provide customer recognition and a competitive edge in the market. The overarching challenge is to develop a public identity that will provide an accurate representation of the organization while increasing public engagement.
Project Scope
A strong brand is essential to the success of an organization; brands add value, provide direction and motivation to employees, and build customer recognition. Given this information, we plan to develop a solution that establishes a strong identity that will give the organization the ability to take on future opportunities on their own. We will research the demographics and composition of these communities to understand the dynamics in the area. Our research will allow the team to form a plan to improve the Friends of BANWR’s relationship with the local residents.
Since our team’s specific project scope focuses on recreational activities, we will research the locations with concentrated individuals with these interests. From there, the Friends of BANWR can target these locations more thoroughly than before; therefore, the client can increase visitation to the refuge and potentially, volunteer engagement.
Research Plan
Before developing a plan of action, the key research areas need to be addressed. The desired result we hope to gather from conducting this research is how does Friends of BANWR create a competitive edge in its market and gain a better understanding of the surrounding communities. Additionally, we hope to gather information about how to attract the target audience our team chose to focus on in the scope of our project. Analyzing this research allows us to begin understanding Friends’ role in its relationship with competitors and community members, which in turn creates a foundation for project development.
