Did Connor and Murphy ever feel guilty for the crimes they committed? Connor and Murphy never viewed their crimes with guilt; rather they viewed them as justified from God's will to kill evil. The movie, “Bondock Saints” is a movie about religion, family, and vigilante justice. The Boondock Saints movie is about two fraternal twins named Connor and Murphy MacManus who feel an awakening from God after a self-defense protocol to become vigilantes. They go around Boston to kill the evil beings walking around the city. Their vigilantism actions attract the police and one agent named Paul Smecker. One religious bible verse that was shown throughout the movie is “Our Father Who art in Heaven Hallowed be Thy Name Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will be Done On Earth as it is in Heaven Give us this day, our daily bread And forgive us for our trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”, this verse was recited by the twins to seek forgiveness from God. In the courtroom scene, the brothers and their father are in a packed room where they hold a mob boss named “Yakavetta” at gunpoint reciting a prayer “And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord. For thee, power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. We shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be...'
