The title of the book is an appropriate title because of Scout and Jem constantly trying to get Boo Radley to come out of his house. In the book they say that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird because mockingbirds don’t harm anyone and are just alive to sing. “What Mr. Radley did was his own business.” (Lee, pg. 65) Boo Radley wasn’t harming anyone, but the kids kept trying to bug him.
