Uncle Pumblechook- Joe's uncle, technically upper class however, he is actually a idiot.
Mr. Wopsle's great aunt- runs the school in town
Biddy- a girl Pip's age who works for Mr. Wopsle's great aunt at the school.
Miss Havisham- a strange lady who never gets out of her bridal gown.
Estella- Miss Havisham's adopted daughter, Pip is in love with her Setting- takes place in 19th century England
Point of View- Great Expectations is in the first person, Pip's point of view, as a flash back and telling his life story.
Plot events-
Pip goes over his life story from his childhood to how he grows up to becoming a young man. Pip falls in love with Estella. After that everything Pip does in his life is for Estella and only her. Pip receives a fortune from a secret donor to pursue an education, he then continues to obtain wealth, success and high social class in the hopes of earning the love of Estella.
