1920's, the story places in New York and Long Island . Narrator Nick Carraway is an old soldier who graduated from Yale University and worked as a salesman. He lives in the modest house on Long Island next to Jay Gatsby's magnificent house. The real name is James Gatz, Jay Gatsby, a man who is so obsessed that you can print your house in an extraordinary way, his source of money is a lot of speculation, actually romantic and restless, in love with the soldier. Tom Buchanan's wife is Daisy; The woman is handsome, rich and so arrogant. Also Nick's cousin. Nick and Gatsby live in East Egg, and Tom and Daisy live in opposite the gulf. Gatsby once disappeared and Daisy married wealthy Tom. In those days a star of Gatsby joins. He meets Gatsby, and Gatsby is not seen much to avoid parting. Gatsby's wisdom is to regain her former lover Daisy. That's why he want help from Nick and Jordan. This old couple meets Nick at his meeting and they are very happy. On the other side,Wilson's wife is Mryttle, Tom's mistress car mechanic. Both Tom and Wilson warn themselves against their wives. These five people will take a New York trip and Daisy and Gatsby will make Tom's car. The others fill Gatsby's car. Tom is very uncomfortable with this situation and is jealous. In the hotel room, Gatsby wants everyone to confess that he does not like Tom from Daisy. But a woman can not. And Tom wins. Gatsby is very upset and understands that he can not reach his goal. Tom is wanting from Gatsby to take Daisy home. Mrtyle, whose husband is home, flies to the road quickly. The place is Ash Valleys, an important metaphor for romance.
