The story “The Pigman” by Paul Zindel is a very good book in my opinion. The book is about two kids who’s avocation is pranking. They love to prank people when they are with eachother. When they prank people they sometimes mortify them and try to make them look bad or stupid. In the novel The Pigman, John Conlan and Lorraine Jensen describe their experiences with Mr. Pignati, a lonely old man obsessed with pigs who they nicknamed the Pigman. The novel starts with John and Lorraine saying that they are writing about the past few months with the Pigman, and then goes on to describe their current situations and discuss their families. John and Lorraine then recall the first time they met the Pigman, when they were playing a telephone game with Norton and Dennis, two other characters in the novel. Lorraine ended up calling Mr. Pignati and asked him if he would like to donate to the L & J Fund, a fake charity. Mr. Pignati agrees and Lorraine and John visit him the next day.

The Pigman by: Paul Zindel is a amazing story that takes you on a ride with it’s characters, I think it is a story that would be a good read for anyone in middle school or older, but not younger because it is a wonderful, but still very depressing, and dark story. In “The Pigman” the story takes place mostly at Mr.Pignati’s house on Howard Avenue. The characters in the story are Lorraine, John, and Mr. Pignati.
Throughout the book, Piggy, an intellectual boy with poor eyesight and asthma, is shown to be an insightful collaborator because he is perceptive, intelligent, and conscientious. To begin,
Piggy the Great Why fit in when born to stand out? Not in piggy’s situation. Being a little bit different is always a good thing, but Piggy was not happy with this grace. Piggy faced lots of abuse, due to the over protection that was given to by family members, but not parents. Living without parents would not help a child grow normally, because parents are a grace given by God to children.
John and Lorraine used to prevarications because they were not in the relationship with their parents. John and Lorraine used to lie to their parents because they go to meat mr. pignati. John and Lorraine became friends with the mr. pignati when they were pranking mr. pignati on the phone. When they pranked mr. pignati they were not ingrate at all. They did not thought of anything except money.
Author, William Golding, in his novel, "Lord of the Flies," follows a group of British boys who are stranded on an uninhabited island and try to govern themselves. One of the boys, Piggy, is constantly bullied and considered a nuisance by the power-hungry boys on the island. Golding's use of an isolated setting in the midst of the other boys illustrates Piggy's struggle to liberate himself from their oppression. However the need to survive reveals Piggy's inventiveness and rational mindset.
The story ¨Pigman¨ by paul zindel was a great book but should not be read by middle school´s ¨The ceiling slanted on the far side, and there was only 1 window. It was okay if you wanted to keep someone as prisoner of zenda, but it looked like a rotten place to work.¨ The main characters of ¨Pigman¨ are John Conlan and Lorraine Jensen and they are both sophomore students . Lorraine and John prank called a bunch of random people but when they pranked a man named Angelo Pignati, the two ended up becoming friends with him and even were allowed to enter his house.
"Now Lourraine can blame all the other things on me..." says John on page 22 right before some major foreshadowing, which states "We didn’t murder him" when you first stumble upon this quote you wonder what he means by this because when this is stated you don’t really know who the Pigman is yet you only know what might happen to him. Later once the two teenagers start visiting Mr. Pignati she says "It got to the point where me and John would go to the Pigmans everyday after school. I think that it is wierd that two teenagers think it is okay to go and hang out with a man that is more than twice their own
Yet, as the story progresses, the boys begin to delve deeper and deeper into savagery. The struggles of power and leadership become more violent, and these once proper English kids truly become a wild pack. One of these young boys goes by the name of Piggy. Piggy is proven to be the smartest on the island, as he has ideas that no other boy can come

How would you act if you were a pig with a wolf waiting to eat you up?! The pigs in the famous story The Story of the Three Little Pigs had to adapt to this question in the best way possible. The first two pigs in the story were not very bright in completing this challenge and ended up being eaten by the wolf when he blew their stick and straw houses down. Then came the third pig who made his house out of bricks and ended up outsmarting the wolf in many various ways to avoid being eaten. The third pig successfully got apples, got turnips, and went to the fair by fooling the wolf.
