Water is extremely important element for every living being. There is tremendous amount of water on the earth because one third of the earth is water. However, only little of it is drinkable. Therefore, human being has to use drinking water in very smart and effective way to survive on the earth. On top of that, the population on the earth is increasing drastically which increase the usage of drinking water. Now, the level of drinking water is at critical point. Few decades ago, people started to get soft drinks into bottles, and now drinking water too. The popularity of bottled water started to increase as a healthier drink, even though, people get free tap water at home. economy is facing many health and job related issues. During this, the bottle producing companies became major economic part. Now, it is very difficult for government to make right decision. First, government and state provide enough tap water, but the fear of tap water makes people more attracted to bottled water. Even the taste, and convenience access, attracts majority of the population without any doubt. The comparison between the price of tap water and bottled water is huge. The bottled water is much more expensive than tap water even though many water bottled companies just use filtered tap water. The production, and transportation are expensive, but the consumption is also not cheap. “For 1,000 gallons of drinking water, Dasani bottled water costs $2,207.86 more than tap water,”(Soechting 104). It is human natural right to have access of water, not through business politics. If the tap water does not taste proper in some areas then it is governments’ responsibility to fix it. Why citizens have to spend their income for expensive bottled water while it the government who has to spend money to maintain the tap water? Not everybody can afford the bottled water instead of tap water because many people are below poverty level. Also, almost everybody pay taxes to government, so now government needs to pay some attention to this
