The book illustrates the transformation that technology is making in today’s society and advancements to achieve things that humans thought could never be reached. It explains and evaluates the revolution of technology as it accomplishes new stages through its growth. The two authors and top thinkers of their subject, Andrew McAfee and Erik Brynjolfsson, express the actions being made to our lives and today’s society towards reinventing the economy. As a whole, we will start to notice and acknowledge the upgrades of technology, infrastructures, and ability to maintain endless amounts of information that will better our lives. Due to all of these upgrades, much change will be needed as we face the future of boundless technology and unlimited information that everyone will need to have access to. All professions will be making dramatic changes, some for the good and some may not be able to make that adjustment. Companies will need to learn how to adapt to the new machine age or they will quickly lose business and die out.
