Here at the Boys & Girls Club, the youth are afforded numerous opportunities and are exposed to new and rewarding experiences. The Boys & Girls Club has a number of groups, programs, and activities to offer youth of all ages. Just last month one of the teen leadership groups, known as the Keystone Club, was afforded the opportunity to travel to the National Keystone Leadership Conference held in Orlando, Fla. Through this trip the teens were able to attend leadership sessions, meet teens from all over the world, trade project ideas, meet famous actors, singers, and public officials as well as engage in new/fun leisure activities. Trips like these are opportunities most young people seldom have the opportunity to experience, but here at the Boys & Girls Club exposing youth to new and positive experiences is what we’re all about.
