Mao: That is not the point. It is clear from the ending that Superman was not under Brainiac influence. His decisions may have been starred in the directions that Brainiac wanted but his main goal was to help otherworld see the good in communism. Superman was a hands-on type of boy. Came form the farms and decided help his nation. All his actions were done as a way to prove how good communism is, humanity would have eventually reached it virtual Utopia. Luthor on the other hand is a crazed man, when you think about it he is fighting with his own self; well a more advanced version of him for world domination. Superman was not even doing that; he wanted to make the world better. And in the end look what happened, Luthor’s virtual “utopia” collapsed
