This book is an encourage book of my school, so I read this book last year. It is a fantasy and adventurous novel. It is also a candidate of Newberry award like a book before I read. This is a simple story, so we could read easily. But it has a good lesson for us. Let's find out. I will summarize this book shortly. Brion's father and mother were divorced each other and Brion knew that his mother loved new man. Brion and pilot went to the father's home. But because of heart attack, the pilot died in the plane while pilot drove the plane. The plane fell down in the lake. Fortunately, Brion was alive! He felt a death many times. For example, he fell down and also he was hurted by a moose and a skunk. So he was almost always sicked and then he decided that he killed himself. But he thought that he couldn't kill himself. So he realized value of his life and worked for today. Brion has strong points. Brave. This is the most important thing to survive. He faced on a lot of situations, but he regained consciousness and solved problems. But he made some mistakes in an important situation. The big reason is that it is an easy book to read:) so I can write essay for this book more easily than before books. The other reason is that I love adventures. So I enjoy TV program which named 'the law of the jungle'. So when I noticed that this book story is about adventure, I smiled:) But here is one weak point. In the middle part of the story developed too fast. When Brion missed the plane which could rescue him, the next chapter was 42 days later. So I couldn't understand the flow of story. I can predict the following context of the story. "As it was the pain in his eyes lasted for days, bothered him after that for two weeks. The smell in the shelter, in his clothes, and in his hair was still there now, almost a month and a half later." on page 123. This means Brion is still alive after a month and a half later. If I can change the story, I want to change the end of this story. I want that Brion's parents lived together with Brion again. Also Brion became an
