I mean think about it, somebody right beside you could be going through the same thing. I know sometimes I’m not having the best days but no one really knows about it. It’s just shows me that I always need to treat people good because they could be going through something really tough. I believe a theme of this story could be that you always need to treat people good. Maybe just maybe if you treat that person good it will make their day. One thing that I didn’t get during this book is how Callie didn’t talk for so long. If Callie would of talked sooner they could've helped her sooner. I believe that Callie is a very sweet girl and that it is so upsetting that she did that to herself. I think that if maybe people would of talked to her more before she was put into Sea Pines it would have helped her. I think that if Callie’s parents and everybody wouldn’t of stepped in then she wouldn’t of started to talk. This just proves help from anyone can help. I know if I had this problem I would love for people to help out like they did for
