The second letter to the church at Thessolonica has Paul giving comfort to the church to alleviate the concern and worry they had over the second coming. The Final Greeting: is the most intriguing part of book of Philippians which depicts the events that lead up to the writing in which he wrote the four (epistles) letters from the jail cell, and the shortest of them all were that of which came from the smaller books listed in our New Testament Bible. As a man who used to be a Jesus hater, not a follower, Paul spent most of his life following Christianity. “He spent the next 30 years traveling the eastern Mediterranean world, spreading Jesus’s teachings” (Doc F). The dedication of Paul’s teaching spread all over the Roman Empire. Traveling from Siden to Myra, all the way to Rome, Paul’s dedication greatly affected the way Christianity spread. Other early Christians also showed commitment and loyalty, even if their life was at stake.

On February 14, 2018, seventeen lives were cut short due to a twenty year old man and a gun. Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida was forever changed by this devastating event. In Paul’s first letter to the Thessalonians, Paul wrote “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness” (1 Thess 5:4). There are many factors that may have effected and even caused this tragedy including the possibility of bullies and the shooter’s, Nikolas Cruz, psyche. Introduction The book of Romans was a letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the Church of Rome, on his way to Jerusalem. Written in the expectation that he would eventually visit Rome himself, the epistle is written as an exposition of the Gospel as Paul, a Jew, understood it, and delivered to the church of Gentiles, in order to inform them and give them a more solid grasp of what it was they stood for and believed in. Being a man whose ministry held some controversy with people who believed that the Jesus’s message of salvation should not extend in the same extent towards the Gentiles, Paul felt that an establishing of goodwill between him and the Roman Church was necessary. As such, Romans in particular is an epistle addressed to people who did not know Paul personally, and as such it is written to be comprehensive and systematic .
Paul writing to Timothy from chapter 3:1-13 was laying down foundational principles of how a church is supposed to be governed. He understood the importance of offices and designated duties. Paul was setting a standard for elders. His life directly reflected on how he would carry out his responsibilities in the church. For those of us who are elders, this passage did not only serve as a test of qualification, but as a personal challenge to maintain Godly ministry.
Besides Jesus, Paul, who called himself as an Apostle, was influential in the beginning of Christianity. People even claimed him as the “founder of Christianity”. Paul was the one that brought Jesus’s message to the world. He went on three missionary journeys, and the fourth journey to Rome in order to spread Christian faith and the development of its various institutions. In addition of his responsible of geographically and culturally expanding Christian movement, he also extended it as well as ethnic lines.
