One theme from Rikki Tikki Tavi would be courage. Rikki has to fight two cobras, Nag and Nagaina, to protect his garden and Teddy. He is frightened of them because they are stronger and bigger than he is, but he overcomes his fear and fights them anyway. "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" is a short story in The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about the adventures of a valiant young mongoose. One theme from Rikki Tikki Tavi would be courage.
“Rikki-tikki tavi” by Rudyard kipling Rikki- tikki tavi had a right to be proud of himself because he was going to defeat karit, nag, and nagaina the one who saved his family was a very brave and sneaky. Rikki-tikki tavi has the right to be proud, and brave of himself because he almost died in the flood on the summer day. The fight started by the cobras because they wanted the room so they tried to kill the family. The cobras were also trying to eat the eggs/ babies and Rikki-tikki was trying to stop the cobras from eating the baby eggs. On page 19 the author has Rikki-tikki say about nag “ Nag is dead- is dead -is dead- is dead”.
This equal standing is one of the many points King tries to make, but certainly not the only one. King’s letter is written as a means of justifying his cause, as well as a means of displaying the unfair treatment of blacks in America. With his use of pathos, saying things such as “when you have seen hate-filled policeman curse, kick, and even kill your black brothers and sisters” makes an extremely heavy impact on the audience. Through his many uses of appeals, mainly his emotional appeal, he is able to convince his audience that not only are blacks not animals, but they are just like everyone
The boys need fend for themselves and they all had to figure out how to survive. Eventually all of the boys soon turned into savages and went against one another by hurting the others. There are two main characters who took charge right away due to no supervision: Jack and Ralph. Jack was mainly in charge of hunting, and Ralph was in charge of shelters. Each of the boys are in competition for chief, which leads to lack of authority.
The settings of a family which has a negative effect on family and boys. Mainly what the characters are inclined to do against each other, the dysfunctional family life and the one parent family. The story has increased my knowledge about gangs and the impact on boys, that positivity of one person is better than the adversity of a gang. The author Scott Monk message to boys is being in a gang, especially a criminal gang is a futile, it is informative in regards that boys can do positive things in their life, that the need to turn their back on gangs and violence.
Overall, the narrator’s point of view helps the readers get a better understanding of the miners lives by showing what they had to do, and why it didn’t
King Illustrated many of the discrimination and cruelty that was taking place in the South. For instances, he wrote about how the cruel mobs were lynching mothers and fathers, drowning brothers and sisters. Also, Policemen, who are the law, kicking and killing black people. It was also evident that African Americans were poor in the society. He then writes about how can a parent explain to his/her child the discrimination that is taking place.
The story of the injustice his mother faced in a patriarchal world, as well as the autobiographic tale of the disappearance of his father, makes a direct link to the following story. Naturally, the stories of King’s creation and background make a straightforward connection with the Indigenous Creation story. Throughout the book, the creation story and how it is told is repeated at the beginning of each chapter. The creation story seems to set the ground as a guideline for stories. As a matter of fact, the way the author tells the creation story appears to be unorganized compared to a more traditional structure, but that is what it makes it great.

In these expressions he uses a strong language as "vicious mobs" and parallelism as "lynch your mothers and fathers at will and drown your sisters and brothers at whim" he uses this language to convey what he had to live in own meat through the same or through relatives or friends. During the development of this paragraph using this type of grammatical and visual structure, the audience begins to feel what it would be like to be in King's position and feel the pain and problems he had to go through. In this part King captures the attention of the audience since its development is very emotive and strong thus arriving at the sensitivity of the reader.
M.L.K. had a tough task. He had to try to convince a group of racist white leaders who have lived the same way for their whole lives. This is testament to how good of a writer King was. As said earlier, a respectable writer does not just put words on paper, a good writer goes beyond. In his use of imagery, he was able to stimulate the reader’s imagination.
Knowledge is a common theme in most stories and each story holds its own. He writes in a way to not only tell a story, but to interest the reader in the story and then help them understand the lesson behind the story. An excellent example of this is portrayed when King tells the story of creation. He tells the story of Charm and all of the animals collaborating to create the earth (pg 20) and then compares it to the typical Adam and Eve story most American children are told. He shared this story to show the dichotomies portrayed throughout Western Society.
