Marketing is a powerful tool and an influential aspect of a business; it provides businesses with important information in order to make adjustments surrounding their business ideas and can manipulate audiences into buying products they did not even need. It also contributes to allowing businesses to express their brand image in a unique and effective to maximise sales and recognition. I enjoyed studying Business at level 2 and elected to further study at level 3.

Business is multi-facet and I enjoy learning about different aspects, I am now more aware of how businesses operate both domestically and internationally as well as how business report financially within legal frameworks. However, I am particularly passionate about marketing and the fact it involves both strategy and creativity. One unit I particularly enjoyed studying was Unit 9: Creative Product Promotion. I am now more adept to digest advertisements and understand their true message such as… Nike that send the message of “Just Do It ‘’ and their underlying meanings. I have begun to think about how I would change advertisements and how they can be altered to target different market segments. Wieden + Kennedy is often used by Nike to create and develop their advertising campaigns. These campaigns are usually forward thinking and posit new directions of thought as well as convince consumers to succumb to the powerhouse that is Nike. They often inspire me and have assisted with me becoming brand loyal to Nike. I have always been interested in different sports and often their work includes many world famous sports athletes. I aspire to continue my study and development to work towards entering the marketing
