The Texas-based convenience store Buc-ee's has experienced immense success and met the needs of their customers through a variety of marketing strategies that can be defined as being devoted to either price, promotion, place, or product. For example, Buc-ee's utilizes a 'promotion' strategy to develop a reputation as a customer-friendly store by ensuring that their enthusiastic employees consistently welcome and greet customers as they come in. This, in turn, builds a brand of loyal, devoted customers, while also creating familiarity between workers and frequent shoppers. Moreover, Buc-ee's applies promotion strategy through their discernable, famous beaver mascot, which is both their logo and appears on a substantial amount of their products. The prevalence of the mascot character instantly makes their brand and advertising more recognizable than others, and is significantly likely to attract new customers unfamiliar with the store.
