With America being one of the world's top ten largest producers of beer, over seventy five percent of Americans ages twenty one and up take no shame in the common love for this cherished drink. Throughout the last hundred years, beer companies have targeted alcohol drinking audiences making a point to why you should choose their beer as opposed to the thousands of companies the world has to offer, meanwhile Budweiser, one of the most dominant selling beer companies in the world, took a turn on how beer is portrayed in our society by targeting all audiences during the 2015 super bowl with a sentimental commercial. Although Budweiser chooses to portray various different messages throughout this ad, the essential focus is geared towards exhibiting that you friends, or “buds” will always be there for you, meaning that Budweiser will always be there for you. As the commercial starts, the puppy is presented to us by popping out of hay, rapidly tugging on our heartstrings so much making even a grown man want to say “aww” out loud. We then see the relationship between the horse and the puppy are instantly attached them, the two “buds.” Naturally as humans, we feel a sense of love and protection for the innocent animals, wanting nothing but endless happiness for the rest of their lives. Additionally, Budweiser previously created other ads centered around the horse and puppy, building a storyline that impacts watchers even more by forming a stronger attachment. The setting of the commercial is on a farm owned by what looks like a fairly young man, who has horses and an adorable puppy. America is built on farming, and being that the man is a farmer, this resembles the importance of the man who is valued in our society, inspiring viewers to want to be just like him. Some viewers find the working position of this man to be relatable, causing them to be biased towards budweiser. Many people who are also a part of budweiser's target audience will buy into the classic american dream of sharing a cold beer with your friends next to your dog and horses on a farm.
