With the advent of the Internet, finding source material for writing is no longer an arduous task; the arduous task is now sifting through the glut of information available to find the nugget of reputable information. The chapter "Finding Sources," from Bullock and Goggin's The Norton Field Guide for Writing with Readings, gives ground rules to help in the searching, sorting, and citing of sources. There are various sources covered in the text: primary sources, such as first-hand accounts; secondary sources, which would be analyses of primary articles.
