Cyberbullying Social Injustice

Bullying, the act of harassment and intimidation, is causing teens to commit suicide and school shootings. Bullying is an issue for all ages in schools and online in the United States and all around the world. Bullying can range from just name calling and teasing to physical threats and rumors. This needs to be recognized as a problem that must be dealt with because students no longer feel safe going to school with all the school shootings going on. Bullying is a social injustice because children and young adults are being mistreated and they think suicide is there only way out of the situation. It’s not healthy for a kid or a teen to keep hearing negative stuff about themselves because it hurts them emotionally, physically and mentally.

School shootings have been happening more than ever and it needs to stop. As most of you should know Columbine,Sandy hook,and parkland were some massive school shootings that never should 've happened. These teens who commited the murder has had enough and just wants everybody to feel the pain they felt when being bullied. “Most attackers showed some history of suicidal attempts or thoughts…(school shootings)” This tells you that many of the teens who committed the shooting were once bullied and they want to seek revenge and get their anger out. Recently in parkland, 17 kids died because of 1 students anger and many schools world wide participated in the “walk out” for 17 minutes to show that their needs to be a change. It is not fair for many students lives to be at risk because of one 's action and poor administration. “ Schools need to be aware of the conformists and depressive atmosphere they create with their emphasis on order(Gillespie)” The school staff need to be onboard of what 's happening in school because many kids are getting tortured and harassed right under the teachers nose. School shootings is the last straw for some students other than suicide because they know they can get back at whoever was

Bullying is a social injustice because many innocent students are dying and suffering because of someone 's poor decisions .Bullying not only puts a person down but it makes them feel like they don 't belong in this world so they look to suicide to end their troubles or school shootings to get revenge. Bullying also makes the person feel depressed or insecurities about themselves and often times makes the person take a second look at their self to see if what you 're saying is actually true. No one should have to go through this at all so i decided to take action. I contacted my local councilman by email and explained why i thought bullying is a social injustice and why teens shouldn 't have to kill themselves to end the bullying. Even though my local representative did not email me back, i still thinks theres needs to be justice for those who lost their lives to suicide and school attacks because they were not getting the proper help they need and they should feel like they belong in this world that we live in. For instance the school walkout was for parkland to see that yes we agree with you and there 's needs to be justice for those who los their lives because of someone who was hurt and didn 't know how to control their anger. Even though we cant do much we should continue to protest so we can have justice for those who were discriminated against .In conclusion, bullying
