The article is quite rich with well put examples, however, lack the corresponding veracity. Carr expressed his opinion – “ethics of business are game ethics, different from the ethics of religion.” (Carr, 1968). His thesis in the article is all about arguments that business and ethics does not mix. In the business world, it is ok to act like a person who is playing poker, thus the poker analogy.
According to Carr, it is acceptable and expected to use bluffing in the business world. There is the difference between bluffing and outright lying. But from the article, it is not clear.
