First month of Warrant Officer Basic Course The role of the military officer today is very complex, challenging, and very rewarding. The transition into Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC) has displayed a few of those characteristics. Upon arrival to the WOBC we as newly appointed Warrant Officers were welcomed with open arms. Not only was the students eager to get started and to begin learning on how to become future 131As but the instructors were as eager to coach, influence and direct the class in the direction needed not only becoming newly certified 131A but to become the future of the 131A cohort. During our first few weeks at WOBC we continued to get acclimated with the new surroundings of Fort Sill and continued to get accustomed to the transition from being enlisted to the officer branch.

In my opinion, Rogue Community College strength is advancement of student learning. As a non-traditional student that lost their job in 2009 due to the economy downturn and chose to return to college to obtain a four-year degree after twenty-nice years. RCC was instrumental in connected me with individuals who helped mentor me through my transition from RCC to SOU. Many of my RCC instructors took extra time to answer questions after class and displayed such commitment and respect to all their students.
I started attending Fork Union Military Academy in the sixth grade and have stayed throughout my entire high school career. To me, this in itself is a large accomplishment and is something I am very proud of. Every cadet goes through many ups and downs, I know in my seven years I have seen more than my fair share of trouble, but like my father always said, it 's not how you fall, but how you pick yourself back up. I made sure to do everything I could to show those around me, and to prove to myself, that I could pick myself up and accomplish anything. I faced and continue to face many different challenges in my daily life, those that every teenager faces, and also those that have been presented to me because of the kind of environment I placed myself in.
In relation to the NCTRC domains and my learning from the shadow experience, I have strengthened the following areas in my professional development. From completing and helping with the client interviews / meeting with the team I have continued to become more comfortable with asking questions and seeking clarification/information from other members of the interdisciplinary team, to ensure there is effective communication and collaboration to best meet the needs/goals for my clients. One of the most important actions that a student can take, is to be honest, and self-reflective, about the level of understanding achieved after completing any course within his/her education career. From my personal view, I feel that this class provided me with a great introduction to the MHA program, and is setting me up for successful in this educational program; but with that being said I would not pretend that I was able to assimilate every concept that was presented in this course, I would definitely need to continue to review the material in this course and on the MHA program overall, so that I could be a knowledgeable, and effective Health Care Manager. When it comes to my ability to discuss the different learning outcomes, I have to say that I definitely acquired a much deeper understanding of the material presented in this course. The materials were not difficult concepts to understand, but sometimes the way the material was delivered made it a difficult task just to read through the information, but as I would imagine, we are trying to achieve an education at a much higher level, which requires the processing and understanding of much more complex information, that sometimes will be
It has been one hell of a ride, but I felt that it was best to move on from the Active Duty environment and try the civilian sector while maintaining presence in the National Guard. My Job that I learned in the Army was one of the most rewarding skills that I believe that I earned that is a Human Intelligence Collector. I will continue to do a similar job in the civilian sector that I did while I was on Active Duty. Taking the course taught me a lot about myself. It taught me that when I need to get something done, I can buckle down and accomplish it. That no matter the circumstances where there is a will there is a way. I was so proud of myself for being able to accomplish not only a college course, but also two camps, a mission trip, and Achievement Days. It taught me about prioritizing and time management.
Zia Lohrasbi SGA Reflection Paper Looking back at the projects we completed this year, I would split this last semester into two categories concerning SGA member participation and the different behavior traits evaluated on the other form. Those two categories are student life events and student advocates. Concerning student life events we were very successful if not rushed. I think one of our better traits as a team is being able to respond to emergencies efficiently. Emergencies in the sense of time in that, for these events this past semester, each was planned within a week of the date which is important to note concerning our workload this year as opposed to last year in that previous SGA teams were able to plan the same number of events
As I reflect on the past 15 months of attending CCU. I recall the excitement, and the overwhelming stress of having to work full time and attend online college. I was not sure that I could complete my degree at fifty years old. Because of being out of school for over 30 years. I was somewhat reluctant to give it a try.
