California Environment Speech

My name is Morgan and I’m here to tell you a few things and suggestions about the environment and how the people here in California are taking part in their environment and how they are trying to take care of it. From my understanding, here in California we are nearly 90%, if not more, 100% in a drought. Because of this, we should be conserving more water and using the water we do waste, on plants and animals that need it the most. I would like to explain some facts and ideas in which I believe we, the entire state of California could benefit from helping the environment grow and make the place we are supposed to live in, be livable and reliable in the future. If you don’t already know, and from what I had stated above, the state of California is enduring a huge amount of drought all around the state. Most of it is due to the lack of rainfall, which in this case we cannot control. but, there are things we can do to help conserve and prevent the water loss to go any further than it already has. Because of this, my family has already involved ourself into this idea. When

By having gardens, or getting a community together to have one big garden where a town can share and grow vegetables, instead of buying proceeds food that will definitely make a huge impact onto the environment. By using less plastic bags and bringing reusable bags for groceries will make a huge impact, plastic is one of the main reasons why the environment is slowly suffering. Gas that is used every day to drive cars and vehicles to get someone is making our ozone suffer. By using electric cars or driving less can reduce the amount of gas and chemicals going into the ozone later. Remember we breathe this stuff everyday and so do our children who sometimes have a hard time breathing it in, just as old people
