In the curriculum, specially designed instruction and support for students with special supports and service needs in regular classrooms and community schools are very important. I would teach children simple sign languages, when the children find the have a hard time to understand flora, they can use gesture to communicate. Flora currently has an expressive vocabulary of 60 words, I also would encourage her interact more with her peers by use simple vocabulary such as “sit here” or “can I play?” I would also work with co-workers, set up a “buddy system”, whereby each child is paired with a buddy for 10 to 15 minutes of free play time each day. During this time, the two buddies stay together, talk and play together. This expands the social and language skills of all children in the class and ensures that no one is left out.
