The Mission Meritas group had good intentions improving Rancho Solano Schools after they bought it in 2007; however, they didn’t take in consideration the huge impact these changes were going to have in the organization and stakeholder. Members of the organization and stakeholders began to receive mix signals when they decided to change the name of the school from “Rancho Solano Private School” to “Rancho Solano Preparatory School”; however, they understood a new organization took over and they were trying to develop their own identity. Other organizations noticed potential to succeed and moved in the area around 2011, this affected the Mission Meritas group because they took in some of their students.
