We live in a time of the worst crisis in the history of mankind. So many people in the world live in hunger , but we try not to look at them and their problems. We successfully do from food different fuels in the form of biodiesel and bioethanol, and our dear politicians assured us that all this is really a great idea because it will reduce oil imports. No one really cares what we need ,that biofuels are very expensive and we will need to pay through higher food prices (which of course we import because there is not enough because the food you have in converting fuel), higher total greenhouse gas emissions, and finally due to higher fuel prices because foods that turn into fuel is becoming increasingly expensive. Until we are able to quench our thirst for money and luxury,we are good. We always seek more. This insatiability is actually the main driver of environmental problems that exist. Capitalism brings with it a capital gain and it is a measure of success of a company. If the profit is higher - the company is better. A profit can always be increased if you make people to do more, and cut down on the stupid expenses. The situation is so out of control that the main environmental problem - global warming - no high-level does not look serious, but if oil price rises then it creates a fuss and panic. It is sad ecological reality in which we live. We all know that we do a lot of damage the planet, but as long as profit rises damage is acceptable. A list of environmental problems is increasing - climate change, global warming, environmental pollution, etc. To really something triggered the better it is necessary that high-ranking politicians are on the side of ecology, and not on the side of the economy. And not only during the election campaign, but after the election, because only then can make changes.
