The three careers I chose to examine were IT Security Administrator, Forensics Investigator, and Obstetrician Gynecologist. I chose these careers because I discovered that the employment rates for these jobs are expected to grow at a faster than average 37% from 2012-2022. This is because data security threats are growing and with more digital technology rising, more organizations have become victims of cyber crimes. The other career is what I want to be. The career the most interests me is Dental Hygiene. After high school, I plan to attend a two year college studying Dental Hygiene. This career interests me the most because I work well with people and it does not require much schooling. I feel as if I would do very well as a Dental Hygienist because they have selective hours. Another reason this career interest me is that you can work up to make pretty good money for little hours that you would be working.
In order to see if any career services center is truly capable of performing their duties, one must be able to dig further than your average student. In order to fully see what a university has to offer one must be able to see what the university offers their students. As an undergrad it is impossible to fully know what we want to do. The career that I have decided I would like to have one day is as a veterinarian. I really enjoy and care for animals and love to help them. I have worked in auto shops, as a service tech performing oil changes, overall involvement with tires (balancing, aligning, dismounting, and mounting), and repairing cars involved in accident collisions. These occupations taught me use my time effectively and efficiently. As far as I can remember I have always wanted to do something with cars. I have never changed what I wanted to become, it has stayed the same throughout my life.
Working in an automotive field means handwork and dedication. You have to start from the bottom and work your way up.
