The Damsel of Death also known as Aileen "Lee" Carol Wuornos was a female serial killer who killed 7 men in a span of a year. Wuornos was born on February 29, 1956, in Rochester, Michigan to Diane Wuornos and Leo Dale Pittman. Her childhood wasn't the best her father was incarcerated at the time of her birth for Sexual crimes against a child. Diane didn't stick around and abandoned her son Keith and Aileen with their grandparents Lauri and Britta Wuornos. The living situation wasn't better with an abusive grandfather and an alcoholic grandmother Aileen's life started to spiral downhill. At the age of 11, Aileen was trading sexual favors with anyone that could get her beer, cigarettes, or money.
